US President Donald Trump has stated that the United States is nearing the completion of its “core objectives” in the ongoing conflict. He emphasised that the sacrifices made by American military personnel will not go in vain, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to finishing the mission they fought for.
According to Trump, the US is moving quickly toward concluding its operations, with the possibility of intensified military action against Iran in the coming two to three weeks. He indicates that decisive steps could soon be taken to bring the situation under control.
Addressing concerns over increasing oil and gas prices in the United States, Trump placed responsibility squarely on Iran. He alleged that attacks linked to the Iranian regime on commercial oil tankers and neighbouring nations have disrupted stability, leading to the price surge. However, he assured citizens that the impact on fuel prices would be temporary.
Trump clarified that regime change was not the original objective of the conflict, but noted that Iran’s top leadership has effectively collapsed under current circumstances. He expressed hope for a possible agreement between the two nations.
At the same time, he issued a stern warning that failure to reach a deal would result in targeted strikes on Iran’s power infrastructure. Stressing America’s strategic advantage, Trump asserted that the US holds all the leverage, while Iran is left with limited options.
