Student Attacked with Gun and Knife on CCSU Campus in Meerut; History-Sheeter Akshay Baisla and Associates Sought in Attempted Murder Case

A university student was brutally attacked late Tuesday night on the campus of Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU) in Meerut. Reports indicate that notorious history-sheeter Akshay Baisla, along with his associates, first opened fire and then repeatedly stabbed the student.

Police have registered an FIR at the Medical Police Station against Baisla, three named accomplices, and several other unidentified students under charges of robbery and attempted murder.

Dispute Over Money for Beer Escalates to Violence
The victim, Aryan, a resident of Mora village, told authorities that Baisla, a resident of Paratapur, called him to the university campus under the pretext of a meeting. Baisla reportedly demanded money for beer. When Aryan refused, the attackers opened fire and followed up with multiple knife strikes, leaving him severely injured.

Police Teams Conducting Manhunt
SP City, Ayush Vikram Singh, confirmed that Akshay Baisla is a wanted history-sheeter and that several police teams have been deployed to apprehend him. “We are pursuing the accused vigorously, and all angles of the incident are under investigation,” Singh said.

Accused Have a Record of Campus Violence
According to the FIR, the named students have a history of violence on campus, including previous assaults and fights. Authorities also noted that Akshay Baisla had recently been banned from entering the university premises due to prior misconduct.

The accused remain at large, and the police have urged anyone with information about their whereabouts to come forward. Meanwhile, the campus community has expressed shock and concern over the escalating violence on university grounds.
