A high-profile delegation of global business leaders is accompanying U.S. President Donald Trump on his upcoming visit to China this week, with major names from the technology and corporate sectors taking part.

Among the most prominent figures on the list is Elon Musk, who is reportedly travelling on Air Force One to Beijing along with the presidential delegation. According to a White House spokesperson, Musk departed on Tuesday as part of the official visit.

The trip is being viewed as significant not only in political terms but also for its potential impact on economic cooperation and technology partnerships between the two countries.

Apple CEO Tim Cook is also part of the delegation. Cook has already announced that he will step down from his role in September. NVIDIA chief Jensen Huang is another key participant, as his company plays a dominant role in supplying artificial intelligence chips globally.

Several other top executives from major global corporations are also accompanying the visit. These include Boeing CEO Robert “Kelly” Ortberg, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, Blackstone CEO Stephen Schwarzman, Cargill CEO Brian Sikes, Citigroup CEO Jane Fraser, Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon, and Mastercard CEO Michael Miebach.

The delegation further includes senior leaders from other major firms such as Meta, Micron, Qualcomm, and Visa, reflecting a broad representation from the financial and technology sectors.

Industry observers suggest that the large-scale corporate presence could help shape future discussions on trade, investment, and technological competition between the United States and China.
