Fresh tensions have emerged between Israel and Lebanon just hours after a 10-day ceasefire agreement came into effect. The Lebanese army has alleged multiple violations of the truce by Israeli forces, raising concerns over the stability of the agreement.
According to Lebanese military officials, several villages in southern Lebanon witnessed intermittent shelling and alleged Israeli strikes. Authorities warned that such incidents continue to create an unstable environment, posing risks to civilian safety in the region.
In an official statement, the Lebanese army urged residents to avoid returning to southern towns and villages for the time being. Citizens have been advised to remain cautious, as the situation on the ground remains uncertain and potentially dangerous.

Earlier, the army had already cautioned that despite the ceasefire, conditions were not fully secure. Residents were encouraged to follow official guidance rather than risk returning prematurely.
Experts believe that repeated violations could weaken the fragile ceasefire deal and potentially escalate tensions between the two nations once again, undermining efforts to maintain peace in the region.
