New Epstein Documents Name Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Steve Bannon, US Oversight Panel Releases Details

By: The Trek News Desk

Dozens of newly disclosed records tied to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein implicate high-profile figures like Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, and Steve Bannon in possible associations.

The U.S. House Oversight Committee (Democratic members) published several thousand pages of documents spanning the years 2010 to 2019, including daily schedules, flight logs, financial transactions, and message logs.

Oversight Committee Unveils Thousands of Records

According to Oversight Committee spokesperson Sara Guerrero, a congressional subpoena issued in August led to the recovery of 8,544 documents. These include schedules, calls, transaction data, and flight logs. Guerrero asserted that these documents “include mentions of possible contact between Jeffrey Epstein and prominent figures like Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Steve Bannon, and Prince Andrew.”

She added,

“Every document helps add pieces to the puzzle as we strive for justice for survivors. It’s clear Epstein mingled with some of the richest and most powerful men in the world.”

She also urged Attorney General Pam Bondi to release all related files publicly, asserting that the American public deserves full transparency.

“Island Trip” Entry Raises Questions About Musk

One entry dated December 6, 2014, reads:

“Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?)”

The reference appears to allude to a potential trip by Musk to Epstein’s controversial Little Saint James Island, a location repeatedly linked to allegations of sexual abuse. The documents, however, do not confirm whether the trip ever took place.

Thiel, Bannon Meetings Also Noted

Further entries show that Epstein had scheduled meetings with Peter Thiel and Steve Bannon. While the documents list these appointments, they do not clarify whether the meetings actually occurred or what was discussed.

Also named in the materials is Prince Andrew, listed as a passenger on Epstein’s private jet in 2000, and an earlier disclosed detail, travelling from New York to Palm Beach alongside Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Musk Denies Allegations, Others Silent So Far

In response to the revelations, Musk took to X (formerly Twitter) to write,

“This is false.”

He rejected the allegations outright. Thiel, Bannon, and Prince Andrew, as of this writing, have not responded publicly.

Meanwhile, Prince Andrew had in 2022 settled with Virginia Giuffre, a key accuser of Epstein, regarding allegations that he sexually abused her when she was a minor. Giuffre died by suicide in April 2025.

Financial Entries, “Andrew” Payments, and Redactions

Financial transaction logs in the newly released files also mention payments to “masseuses”, possibly on behalf of someone named “Andrew.” The Oversight Committee says those entries are under further review, and the full context remains unclear.

A portion of documents has been redacted or blacked out to protect victims’ privacy and to maintain the integrity of ongoing investigations, the committee said.

Background & Context

Jeffrey Epstein died by apparent suicide in his jail cell at New York’s Metropolitan Correctional Centre in 2019, a case that has since spawned numerous conspiracy theories, given his deep connections to wealthy and influential individuals.

The Trump administration’s decision not to publish many of its investigative files related to Epstein has drawn criticism and accusations of a cover-up.

Elon Musk had previously claimed (via social media) that former President Donald Trump was blocking the release of certain files because they implicated him.

What Next?

While the documents point to associations and potential encounters, no formal wrongdoing or criminal charges have yet been lodged against Musk, Thiel, Bannon, or Prince Andrew in connection with Epstein. The Oversight Committee says its examination continues, and further revelations may follow as more documents are analysed.

This disclosure once again illustrates the wide reach of Epstein’s network spanning tech entrepreneurs, political strategists, and royal figures, and rekindles calls for comprehensive accountability and transparency.
