At least 31 people have been killed in Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry. Official figures released on Monday confirmed that another 149 individuals sustained injuries in the attacks.

Health authorities stated that nearly two-thirds of those killed were from southern Lebanon, where the impact of the strikes was reportedly the most severe. Several residential areas are reported to have suffered damage, heightening residents’ fear and uncertainty.

Observers believe the latest escalation could further intensify the already volatile situation in West Asia. Tensions across the region have been rising following recent airstrike campaigns carried out by the United States and Israel targeting Iran. The fresh confrontation between Hezbollah and Israel now threatens to widen the scope of the conflict.

Meanwhile, Kuwait is also facing a tense security situation. The United States has issued an urgent advisory to American citizens in the country, urging them to seek shelter and remain indoors. The advisory specifically instructed U.S. nationals not to approach the American Embassy until further notice.

With developments unfolding rapidly, the international community is closely monitoring the situation as concerns grow over the potential for broader regional instability.
