Trump’s Thanksgiving Message: “Permanent Halt to Migration from All Third World Nations”

By: The Trek News Desk

In a strongly worded Thanksgiving address, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he intends to permanently suspend immigration from all Third World countries, arguing that the United States needs time to “recover” and “stabilise.” Trump said he would also expel anyone he considers “a burden rather than an asset” to the country.

Trump Blames Biden for Surge in Illegal Immigration

Posting on Truth Social, Trump sharply criticised the Biden administration’s border and immigration policies. He pledged that a future Trump administration would:

  • end all federal benefits for non-citizens,
  • revoke naturalisation for individuals deemed security risks, and
  • deport migrants who entered through what he described as “unauthorised or improperly approved” processes.

Labelling his plan as “reverse migration,” Trump said the objective is to dramatically reduce “illegal and disruptive populations” within the United States.

Shooting Near the White House Leaves One National Guard Member Dead

Trump’s remarks came a day after two members of the National Guard were shot near the Farragut West Metro station, just a few blocks from the White House.
One of the soldiers, 20-year-old Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, later died of her wounds.

The attacker, identified as 29-year-old Afghan national Rahmanullah Lakanwal, was shot during the confrontation. According to officials, he had entered the U.S. in 2021.

“No Place for Those Who Undermine America” – Trump

Trump also targeted individuals he believes hold anti-American views, claiming that-

  • the U.S. now hosts 53 million foreign-born residents,
  • many of whom, he alleged, rely on welfare programs and come from “failed states, gangs, or criminal networks.”

He argued that Americans have been silently tolerating these conditions, adding that it is “eating them up inside.”

Somali Community in Minnesota Draws Trump’s Ire

In another post, Trump criticised the Somali refugee community in Minnesota, alleging that Somali gangs have taken over neighbourhoods and left residents fearful inside their own homes.

He accused Minnesota Governor Tim Walz of inaction, suggesting the governor is held back by “fear or incompetence.”
Trump also aimed at Representative Ilhan Omar, saying she “complains about the country that gave her everything while her place of origin is plagued by instability and lawlessness.”

Investigation Into the Attack Continues

Federal agencies and local police are still investigating the shooting. President Trump has labelled it an “act of terror” and has demanded a review of every Afghan national admitted under the Biden administration.

Authorities have not yet released any official conclusions about the motive behind the attack.
