Kuwait’s Defence Ministry reported on Monday morning that several U.S. military aircraft had crashed in the country, but all crew members survived. The incident occurred as Iran continued its third consecutive day of airstrikes in the Gulf region, heightening regional tensions.
A ministry spokesperson said in a statement, “Several U.S. warplanes crashed this morning. We confirm that all crew members are safe.” He added that the cause of the crashes is currently under investigation.
The spokesperson further noted that authorities immediately launched search-and-rescue operations. All personnel were safely evacuated from the crash sites and taken to nearby hospitals for medical evaluation and treatment. Their condition has been reported as stable.
The crashes add to the escalating security concerns in the Gulf, where U.S. and Kuwaiti forces are maintaining heightened vigilance. Officials are closely monitoring the situation as investigations continue.
