A Hong Kong court has convicted prominent media entrepreneur and pro-democracy figure Jimmy Lai on all charges under the city’s controversial national security law, marking a major moment in one of the most closely followed trials in recent years. After nearly two years of legal proceedings, the court found Lai guilty of two serious national security offences along with a lesser charge of sedition.
