US President Donald Trump has voiced open support for Iranians participating in ongoing anti-government demonstrations, stating that “help is on the way.” In a strong message, Trump encouraged citizens to keep up their protests and take control of state institutions.
Posting on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump called on what he described as “Iranian patriots” to persist with their movement. He urged protesters to document those responsible for violence and abuse, warning that those involved would eventually face consequences.
Trump also announced that he has cancelled all planned engagements with Iranian officials, saying such talks would remain off the table until what he termed the “senseless killing of protesters” comes to an end. He added that the United States is closely monitoring developments and stands ready to extend assistance.

The statement came as Iran restored limited communication services after more than four days of an internet and communications blackout. During the shutdown, security forces reportedly carried out a harsh crackdown on demonstrators, with hundreds of deaths being reported by rights groups.
As protests continue across Iran, international reactions are intensifying. Trump’s public show of support and sharp warning to Tehran has further escalated political tensions, drawing global attention to the unfolding crisis.
