In a commendable initiative by Betiyaan Foundation, a national NGO, a health awareness program titled “Doctor Talk” was successfully organised at Delhi Global School, Mawana Road, Meerut. The event was jointly coordinated by Geeta Singh, District President (Dehradun), and Radhika Atri, District President (Meerut), underlining the foundation’s commitment to promoting youth wellness and awareness.

The session focused on raising awareness about physical and mental health among students while addressing the adverse effects of excessive mobile phone use. The keynote speaker, Dr Aditi Gupta, educated students about the importance of a balanced diet, mental well-being, and the growing health issues linked to smartphone addiction, such as eye strain, anxiety, and sleep deprivation. Through practical advice and relatable examples, Dr Gupta encouraged students to adopt healthier daily habits and a disciplined lifestyle.

Principal Parneendu Jha and Vice Principal Usha Sharma lauded the initiative, appreciating Betiyaan Foundation’s proactive efforts. Principal Jha remarked that the event was a “valuable step towards the holistic development of students” and expressed interest in hosting similar sessions in the future.

The program not only enlightened students on key aspects of health and well-being but also served as an inspiration for parents and teachers alike. By creating awareness about the importance of balanced living in a digital age, Betiyaan Foundation’s “Doctor Talk” stands as a positive stride toward building a healthier, more mindful generation.
