  3. Physiotherapy Assessment and Home Advice
  4. Eye Check-Up and Vision Counselling

Each participant underwent examinations and received personalised advice from specialists in their respective areas.

In the Ayurveda Consultation section, practitioners discussed the importance of balancing body, mind, and spirit. They emphasised that Ayurveda is not merely a treatment method but a “science of living well.” Experts recommended a balanced diet, proper sleep, daily yoga and pranayama, and the use of natural herbs such as Tulsi, Giloy, Amla, Ashwagandha, Shatavari, and Triphala to boost immunity. They also advised increasing the intake of fresh fruits, vegetables, ghee, and water while avoiding junk food.

The Physiotherapy Department held interactive sessions addressing issues such as muscle pain, back and neck strain, and knee discomfort. Specialists stressed the dangers of prolonged sitting and inactivity, common in modern lifestyles, and recommended short stretching breaks every two hours, proper posture, and back support while working at computers. Yoga postures like Bhujangasana, Tadasana, and Pavanmuktasana were demonstrated as effective for spinal health.

In the Eye Check-Up section, ophthalmologists highlighted the growing strain on vision caused by continuous exposure to digital screens. They warned about symptoms like dryness, irritation, headaches, and blurred vision and suggested following the “20-20-20 rule”, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds every 20 minutes. Diets rich in vitamin A, leafy greens, carrots, beets, almonds, and milk were also recommended for maintaining eye health.

The medical team from IIMT University, including Dr Mansoor Ahmad, Dr Anupam, Dr Gunjan, Dr Harsh Arya, Dr Sarik, along with assistant doctors and pharmacists, conducted check-ups and provided individualised consultations.
