The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the final date sheet for the 2026 board exams for Class 10 and Class 12. According to the schedule, the exams will start on February 15, 2026, with Class 10 exams concluding on February 28 and Class 12 exams ending on March 3, 2026.
Key Highlights of the Schedule
The board has published the timetable well in advance, around 110 days before the exams begin, giving students ample time to plan their preparation. This is the final and official schedule for both classes, replacing any previous tentative timetables.
Earlier, the 2026 CBSE board exams were planned from February 17 to March 6. The updated schedule now brings Class 10 exams forward by two days, starting on February 15, while Class 12 exams remain set to finish by March 3.
Time to Strategise
Education experts suggest that students can now finalise their study plans and revision schedules. Focus on major subjects, key chapters, and previous years’ question papers is highly recommended to ensure thorough preparation.
The early release of the date sheet is seen as a helpful step for students aiming to manage their preparation effectively before the exams.
