U.S. President Donald Trump has made strong claims regarding the ongoing military campaign against Iran, stating that American forces have achieved significant results within a short period of time. According to Trump, the United States military has inflicted serious damage on Iran’s naval forces, air power and missile infrastructure.
Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump described the operation as highly successful. He said that several Iranian naval vessels were destroyed during the strikes and that the country’s air force has been largely neutralised.
The U.S. president also claimed that Iran’s missile capabilities have been severely weakened. He stated that the number of missile launches has reduced considerably because American strikes targeted key facilities involved in missile production. In addition, Trump said that Iran’s drone operations have also suffered major setbacks due to the attacks.
Trump further asserted that the strikes have affected Iran’s leadership structure. According to him, several individuals connected to military and strategic leadership have been targeted during the campaign.
When asked how long the military operation would last, Trump said the campaign would continue until the United States achieved its objectives. He added that the conflict is expected to continue for “a little while” longer.
However, independent confirmation of these claims has not yet been fully established. International analysts believe the rising tensions in the region could have broader implications for global security and geopolitical stability.
